Located only 20 minutes from downtown Queenstown, it provides skiers and snowboarders a convenient ski base. Coronet Peak is also the only ski field in New Zealand to offer night skiing, which adds to the mountain’s unique atmosphere and maximises what you can achieve on your New Zealand ski holiday!

Night Ski at Coronet Peak every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night to 31 August. Check out epic sunsets and send it down floodlit trails. Experience après ski beside a roaring fire or dance while the DJ spins tunes. Night Ski is one of  Queenstown’s bucket list activities.

How do I get to Coronet Peak? Coronet Peak is the closest ski field to Queenstown, only 16kms away. You can drive or catch a ride on Coronet Peak’s Bus transport from downtown Queenstown or from your hotel.

When is the Ski Season? The New Zealand Ski Season runs from June to October.

What hours is the mountain open? 9am – 4pm. Night Ski at Coronet Peak from 4pm – 9pm every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night from late June to early September.

Do I need to book? Highly recommended, plus it saves a huge amount of time so you can ski more!

Can I get food on the mountain? You bet! Coronet Peak has restaurants, cafes and Ice Bars to keep you fuelled and hydrated for an epic day on the snow.

The Remarkables offers big mountain terrain with sun-soaked chutes and untouched snow. Test out your skills in one of seven parks or take your first turns in the extensive learner’s area. The Remarkables offers terrain and facilities that suit first timers to seasoned skiers and snowboarders!
